Jennifer Hart

Jennifer Hart (she/her) is a public school teacher and precinct committee person, leadership member of the DPCTB, and community volunteer. She holds a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and has been a teacher in Hillsborough County public schools since 2004 as well as a CTA union rep. Jennifer was a founding member of the Democratic Progressive Caucus of Tampa Bay in 2016 and has since served as a board member and the chair of the fundraising and campaign committees. She originally got involved with political activism by supporting the first presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders. Her goals are to continue to reform the Democratic Party by engaging more voters and endorsing and campaigning for diverse local candidates who will uphold the progressive platform. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with family and friends, reading, and learning to play drums.
