Marcus Klebe

Board Member

Before focusing on political activism, Marcus Klebe (he/him) spent many years working as a successful corporate attorney, during which time he discovered an aptitude, and love, for community mediation. Over the last four years, Marcus has served on the board of DPCTB and the board of the Florida Progressives Political Committee (PAC), was Deputy Campaign Manager for Ione Townsend’s campaign for FDP Chair, and previously served as Deputy Regional Director for the FDP / Andrew Gillum Coordinated Campaign. Marcus joined the local party as a Precinct Committeeperson after the 2016 presidential election and was elected as Hillsborough County Democratic Party (HCDEC) State Committeeman in December 2020 for a four year term. Marcus previously served the HCDEC in various other capacities, including HCDEC Legislative Chair and Kennedy King Gala 2020 Co-Chair. Marcus believes that DPCTB is widely considered the most effective Democratic Club or Caucus in the entire region precisely because of its steady, hard-working and collaborative leadership style. Marcus lives in Westchase (NW Hillsborough) with his wife and four children, for whom he is the primary caregiver.
